Briar Music Press operates as a print-on-demand publisher. Copies are not kept on hand but are instead produced in response to orders. Most orders ar efilled within two days; however, please allow up to two weeks for fulfillment. Briar Music Press editions can be ordered on-line and/or through the U.S. Mail. Payment information is secure when ordering on-line and personal information is never sold or distributed to third parties.

Ordering via U.S. Mail
  1. Download the Order Form. Download the order form by clicking here and printing it. The order form is in PDF format, so Adobe Acrobat is required (available for free here).

  2. Complete the Order Form. Fill in the order form with your selection(s) and subtotal. Calculate any applicable discount on the subtotal. Illinois orders add sales tax figured on the subtotal or discounted subtotal. Add the applicable shipping and handling fee.

  3. Payment. When paying by personal check, money order, or cashier's check, make payable to Briar Music Press. Payment must be in U.S. funds. When ordering by U.S. Mail, and paying via credit card , please provide the name of the cardholder, credit card number, the expiration date, and the security code.

  4. Send the Order Form. Send the completed order form and payment via U.S. Mail to the following address:

  5. Shipment Confirmation. If you wish to receive an e-mail confirmation of shipment, please provide an e-mail address.
Ordering On-Line
  1. Choose your Selections. Locate your selections on the catalog page and click to add to your shopping cart. The shopping cart updates in the background and orders are not final until payment is made. After selections are made, click on "Shopping Cart" to view a preliminary summary of your order. Change the quantity of any selection.

  2. Discount, Tax, and Shipping. If applicable, enter a discount code. Orders originating in Illinois must select the option to add sales tax. Select the domestic or foreign shipping and handling fee. Click "Update Cart" to incorporate changes and calculate tax. Click on "Checkout" to view the order summary.

  3. Payment and Personal Information. Click on "PayPal Check Out" and follow the instructions for making payment using either a credit card or a PayPal account. This step requires that shipping and e-mail addresses. A Paypal account is not required to pay with a credit card.

  4. Order/Shipment Confirmation. An order confirmation is sent to the e-mail address you provide. A shipping confirmation is sent via e-mail once the order is fulfilled.
Ordering via Purchase Orders

Purchase orders from institutional customers are also accepted. Orders are normally taken via e-mail. An invoice is issued and included with shipment. A Shipping confirmation is also sent via e-mail.

Extra Sets of Parts

It is an unambiguous infringement of copyright law to make photocopies of parts for large ensembles. In consideration of the needs of such ensembles, with the purchase of an edition (one score and one set of parts), additional sets of parts are available for purchase at a nominal cost. Scores are not sold separately; extra sets of parts are not sold separately.
